    Hello,

I’m using a parent theme (Finale) which already uses Vafpress to make custom metaboxes (in the admin edit page area) – the key file is /vafpress/app/builder/metabox/page-options.php.

I have made a child theme, and want to further modify the Vafpress elements, to add an extra field to the metaboxes. Unfortunately I can’t see how to override Vafpress details in my child theme. In the child theme, I’ve tried making a folder /vafpress/app/builder/metabox/, and tried adding page-options.php. I also tried renaming page-options.php to a unique name. However, Vafpress ignores everything in my child theme.

I don’t want to have to edit the parent theme. What can I do?

    Thanks,

    Spinner
